Bio

Didier Allouch is a French film journalist.

Since 1996, Didier Allouch has been a correspondent for the French TV Network Canal+ in Los
Angeles, where he resides. Every year he hosts the Oscar ceremony for Canal+. He’s also
hosting a daily show during the Cannes Film Festival live from the red carpet for Canal+. He’s
also reviewing films for several French Websites and Magazines like Premiere, Mad Movies, Le
Film Français, etc…


In January 2009, he created the weekly show L’Hebd'Hollywood a 15 minutes report about the
happening in the movie and TV industry in Hollywood. The show is still on every week on
Canal+.


Didier is also the host, producer and chief editor of a bi-monthly show called Rendez-Vous
D’Amérique
airing on the French speaking network in the US TV5 Monde.


Didier is also the Los Angeles based correspondent for the Cannes Film Festival. In Cannes, he
had presented many Masterclasses for the Festival with people like Tom Cruise, Jodie Foster,
Sylvester Stallone, Matt Damon, John Travolta… He also moderates numerous press
conferences during the festival. All year long, he moderates and presents many masterclasses in
festival like Lumière in Lyon, Toronto and moderates events for Unifrance or TV5Monde in the
U.S.

Through his producion company, La Jolla TV Productions, Didier has produced dozens of EPKs
and generic interviews on set or during the promotion of a film for studios like Paramount,
Warner or Universal and producer like Voltage Pictures, Miramax or Blumhouse…


He also directed about 50 documentaries all centered on the movie and TV industry in all its
extent.


Didier has now lived in Los Angeles for more than 25 years.
